Welcome! Thank you for choosing Lowell Area Schools for your child. We are committed to providing a quality academic program that will give all students a foundation of knowledge and life skills necessary to engage in a lifetime of learning.

Choose the appropriate grade level below to start the enrollment process!
Preschool
Begin preschool enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year
Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will open February 9, 2026.
Kindergarten-12th Grade
Begin Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year.
Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will open February 18, 2026.
Kindergarten - all steps of enrollment should be completed by April 12, 2026 in order to receive an invitation to kindergarten roundup. Kindergarten roundup dates are located on each elementary buildings webpage.
If you live outside of the Lowell Area Schools district, please see the Schools of Choice page for further instructions.
If you live within the district but would like to enroll in an elementary outside the address boundaries, please completed the Internal Schools of Choice Application and return it to your resident elementary school to being the process.
In order to enroll for Kindergarten, your child must be 5 by September 1.
Enrollment Documentation
Before we are able to complete the enrollment process, we will need the following required documentation:
- Certified Birth Certificate (with seal)
- Proof of Residency (property tax bill, current utility bill, bank statement, pay stub, loan/lease documents). We cannot accept a cell phone bill or picture of an envelope.
- Immunization Record
