COVID-19 Grant Information
Pursuant to Public Act 166 of 2020, legislation was recently passed that appropriated funding for the Teacher COVID-19 Grant and School Support COVID-19 Grant Programs.
The State of Michigan has established a grant through which employees can receive additional compensation for work during the 2019-2020 school year. Payment will be made directly from the Treasury Department, however, schools are tasked with gathering and verifying the information.
December 4 is the deadline to file an appeal to the District regarding eligibility. Employees who believe that they are eligible and have NOT received Form 5734 from the District should send a written appeal email with an explanation of why they believe they are eligible to
